Tilda Something Blue Pillow Kit
This pillow with its lovely blue and white bowls is a pleasure to make and is wonderful on its own or to accompany one of the Bowl Collection Quilts. This design has a blue plaid background from the Tea Towel Basics range and one of the bowls is filled with appliqué flowers and leaves. For an even easier design, there is another pillow design with two bowls but without the appliqué, on a putty-coloured background. These two pillows showcase the dark shades of the blue and white fabrics of the Something Blue collection. An extra decorative touch is created by fussy cutting one of the fabrics to select specific border motifs for the bowl rims. The appliqué is created using a freezer paper method.
Please note that our pillow kits come with the fabrics for the front, back and binding but the buttons on the back are optional extras; Four buttons for pillow back: Something Blue Buttons Light 16mm and 20mm (TD400076) or the Dark buttons (TD400077)
