The Starbright blanket is inspired by Lucy's nostalgic memories of childhood Christmas – foil wrapped chocolates, twinkling fairy lights, brightly coloured baubles and garlands. These festive brights are set against the deep blues of night skies, creating a blanket full of winter magic.
The Starbright Blanket is a square design with blocks arranged in a 9 x 9 format and finished with a wide border. The squares are assembled using the join-as-you-go method which is explained in the full photo tutorial provided for free on Lucy’s blog. Your finished blanket will measure approximately 130cm x 130cm
